Washers look like the cheapest part on the drawing, which is exactly why they get downgraded until a joint works loose. Chenfeng punches and cold-forms flat washers, large series washers, spring washers, toothed lock washers and square taper washers from cold rolled and galvanized coil. Thickness, inner diameter and hardness are held to DIN 125, DIN 9021, DIN 127 and DIN 6797, and spring washers are hardness tested in every batch so they actually spring back. Available in carbon steel with zinc or hot dip galvanized finish, and in 304 / 316 stainless.
General purpose washer that spreads bolt load over a larger area and protects the clamped surface from galling. Punched from cold rolled or galvanized coil.
Oversized outside diameter for soft materials, slotted holes and thin sheet where a standard washer would simply dish into the joint.
Split helical washer that stores elastic energy and maintains tension as the joint settles, resisting loosening from vibration. Hardness tested in every batch.
External or internal teeth bite into the mating surfaces to provide electrical continuity and prevent rotation. Common in earthing and electronic assemblies.
Tapered bore compensates for the slope of channel and I-beam flanges, giving the bolt head a square, flat bearing surface.
